Job Purpose To support design management and Regional and Primary Infrastructure teams in coordination of BIM models, federated models, updates, checks, re-designs, re-routing, quantities etc. Functional/Technical Responsibilities The Candidate will be responsible for the project information management of design and BIM deliverables and proving direction on BIM design and technical requirements of regional and primary infrastructure. Responsibilities include but not limited to: -

  • Mentor BIM infrastructure team members and assist with managing and supervising the BIM team under the direction of the Infrastructure Director.
  • Provide technical design information management and BIM oversight of regional and primary infrastructure projects including civil, highways and utility packages provided by appointed parties.
  • Coordination of lead appointed party infrastructure designs in BIM and GIS to ensure all parties are working collaboratively.
  • Attend and lead review workshops with the consultants, provide technical review input and assist with issue resolution and closure of issues.
  • Respond to infrastructure specific RFIs and participate in meetings to clarify questions and queries as required.
  • Evaluate pre and post-contract BIM execution plans (BEP) of the appointed parties, provide feedback to the parties and approve plans that are compliant with infrastructure requirements.
  • Review, verification and validation of design data and BIM deliverables for regional and primary infrastructure in context of model data and extended data to ensure consistency and conformance with RSG BIM objectives and requirements.
  • Ensuring that the company and project standards are maintained on all deliverables.
  • Collaboration with RSG departments to ensure BIM requirements are addressed when integrating infrastructure designs with other discipline information data.
  • Manage information quality in the Common Data Environment (CDE) by reviewing and validating information formats, delivery formats, structure of the information model and means of structuring and classifying infrastructure information.
  • Manage incoming BIM related Aconex Workflows and track all open reviews on the teams action list.
  • Collaborate with Client’s Geographical Information System (GIS) team to align GIS workflows to achieve fully coordinated digital representations across the two platforms.
  • Provide infrastructure input for RSG’s project status and dashboard reports.
  • Work with Infra management and technical team on potential new layouts, routings, earthwork models, quantities etc. in order to produce cost estimates.
  • Make drafts, calculations and analyses to be transferred to the BIM environment.
  • Check and combine federated models for Regional and primary Infra teams at plot boundaries and ROWs and utility corridor interfaces using certain protocol, programs and structures.
  • Collaborate with Consultants, PPP and RSG construction BIM teams in developing solutions to problematic interface or routing plans.
  • Identifying bottlenecks in the strategy policy in the field of information management, building process, personnel management and advising on possible adjustments.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to involved parties about the use of data and application of output.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent;
  • Preferably have BIM Certification or an equivalent qualification;
  • Minimum of 8 years total experience post diploma;
  • A strong background in managing the delivery of infrastructure projects in BIM (minimum 5 years of experience) including design, drafting, engineering and BIM;
  • Significant track record of BIM Management in accordance with ISO19650;
  • Middle East experience and will preferably have worked on multi-disciplinary infrastructure for development projects in the region; and
  • Proven success in managing multidisciplinary BIM projects with expertise in infrastructure and utilities.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: Up to ï·¼22,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
