- Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the efficient processing of invoices and payments.
- Develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures to streamline accounts payable processes and enhance financial accuracy.
- Oversee payment disbursement activities, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure compliance with internal standards and regional regulations.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks within the accounts payable function.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of the accounts payable team and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to accounts payable processes.
- Valid accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA).
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing an accounting team
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Arabic (preferred).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
