Job details

Credit Controller will be responsible for timely collection of customer receivables in the relevant business unit, and adherence to Group Credit Control policies and procedures.Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring that new customers are properly on-boarded, and that accurate credit approval documentation such as Trade References, Credit References and Customer POs are collected, reviewed thoroughly and recorded on the ERP system before hires are released.Ensure that all customer contract files contain 100% up-to-date contract documentation to minimize payment delays.Ensure that Statements of Account and standard follow-up / escalation communication is sent to customers in line with internal deadlines.Pursue on overdue payments from customers and ensure that credit terms are adhered to.Adhere to recovery procedures when interacting with default customers.Support monthly receivables reporting and month-end requirements.Manage the legal recovery process for defaulted customer accounts.Collection of payments (cheques etc.) from customer premises.Ensure that accounts receivables are up to date and reconciled on a periodic basis.
