Projects Manager - (for construction Contractor side) with previous experience of (on-site) management of large scale building Projects in Construction contractor firms. Have managed projects and delivered them on time and within budget. The role will be site based so the required candidate must have strong project management, progress reports, commissioning and ultimate handover. The role will have aspects of design, commercial and procurement but focus is on the management of the structure and building work. Manage, plan and successfully execute construction project management experience with proven leadership qualities, able to liaise on closely with client and subcontractors, familiar with contracts administration, computer literate and able to communicate fluently in English.
- Review the contract documents, specifications and drawings.
- Review the manpower requirements of the project.
- Review the equipment and plant requirements for the project.
- Responsible for the financial profitability of the project, supervising project team, coordinating the overall project and field construction works.
- Control construction activities and production output.
- Preparation and submission of weekly reports to the Senior Management of the Company.
- Follow up subcontractor works in addition to reviewing their progress.
- Project Scheduling for the execution
- Coordination with Consultant / Client to ensure project milestones are met and updated.
- Coordination with sub-contractor to ensure project milestones are met and updated.
- Preparation of Detailed project scheduling reports on Primavera P3 and P6 including:
- Project Schedule
- Pert
- Critical path
- Resource allocation
- Leveling
- Const control
- Cash flow
- Cost to complete
- Supervision of works on site and feedback for accurate project scheduling
- Preparation of cash flow statements
- Coordination of Submittals of schedule and approvals
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a projects and scope.
- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
- Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Minimize our exposure and risk on project.
- Ensures project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately.
- Assures project legal documents are completed and signed.
- Facilities team and client meetings effectively.
- Holds regular status meetings with project team.
- Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.
- Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors
- Resolve and / or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Plan and schedule the work and efficiently organize the site / facilities in order to meet client requirements for construction and maintenance works.
- Execute soft landscape works in specifics with Architects / Consultants to achieve client requirements.
- Supervises and monitor the site labour force through Supervisors / Foreman; for all landscape construction from shop drawing till hand over.
- To aid on site as well as will have role there co-ordinating supervisors, labours etc. and liaising with project managers of Sustainable Earth.
- Oversees the requisition of materials for use in the construction / maintenance and check whether the materials are specified.
- Prepares necessary paperwork for the completion of work and get it authorized by consultant.
- Develops relationship with the Project Manager / Engineer and prepare periodical reports on the progress of work.
- To help prepare shop drawings, submittals, coordinate between the engineers, ideally to have practical construction experience.
- Coordination of teams as per program requirements.
- To identify, coordinate procurement of materials as per program requirements.

- Assists in developing key performance indicators, targets and control procedures focused on achieving project objectives and departmental / organizational objectives.
- Assists in managing, monitoring and evaluating the design process including managing relationships with outsourced consultants.
- Monitoring progress of projects, conferring with project engineers and ensuring that projects are executed based on schedule, budgetary and quality guidelines.
- Designing structural mechanisms and components including rectangular. Performing engineering calculation for structural designs.
- Researching and maintaining correspondence with vendors of technical equipment.
- Meeting with clients, contractors and / or consultants to discuss and get approval of submittals.
- Developing Material Take-off.
- Preparing Works Orders.
- Developing technical and financial proposals.
- Preparing technical package for submittal.
- Preparation of detailed engineering drawing using AutoCad
- Draft drawing according to engineering specifications
- Assist in the design and modification of existing drawings
- Design mechanical, civil and electrical mechanisms and components
- Perform engineering calculation for mechanical designs.
- Design installation execution drawings.
- Performs a variety of skilled and semiskilled tasks in managing the cleaning services, garden maintenance, pest control, stock maintenance and various services activities related to maintenance etc.
- Direct and participate in the completion of services in a manner consistent with safety principles. Estimates kinds and qualities of supplies are needed for performance of services.
- Assists in the supervision and participate in the operation and maintenance of services facilities; repair and maintain services equipment and facilities.
- Directs the work of contractor personnel, ensure utilization of appropriate safety equipment and procedures. Performs the essential functions of the job without posting a direct threat to the health and safety of others.
- Knowledge, Skill & Experience
- Completed High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience in industrial camp activities within similar industry or hotels.
- Knowledge of materials, method, practices and equipment used in facilities maintenance and repair activities.
- Ability to deal effectively and courteously with associates and the general public.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
