A leading contracting company is looking to hire a Site/Construction Manager- Electrical for their projects based in Abu Dhabi.Should carry Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with extensive experience in 11KV substations. Objective of Role - To manage site activities and resources ensuring delivery in accordance with project schedules and plans; ensures project deliverables stay on time, on-target and remain under allocated budget. - To follow and maintain project budgets, profitability and ensures timely payments by the Client; - Maintain Client/ Consultant relations, proactively resolving client concerns that may arise during project execution in coordination with the Project Manager / Division Head as needed in order to safeguard the Company’s rights and entitlements Responsibilities - Manages site activities and coordinates with the Planning Engineer for the overall planning (work program, work schedule, histograms, material delivery schedule) of the project activities; through proposal scoping and project start-up. - Provides hands on project management and actively manages the site works, deliverables, dependencies, to ensure that the project goals and objectives are achieved within the project timeframe and guidelines established by the relevant stakeholders and management committees. - Prepare project status reports to Project Manager and provide project updates on activities and deliverables. - Completes and manages project activities using an industry standard project management process to ensure a consistent approach to project completion. - Ensures method statements, procedures are submitted to the Consultants and are implemented as per their approval. - Reviews BOQ prepared by Quantity Surveyors to ensure compliance with client specifications/ requirements. - Manages all site work and ensures that it is executed in accordance with the contract approved specifications, drawings, plan, - Bachelors degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline - Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is an asset / recommended Relevant Experience : - Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience About The Company Parker Consult is the fastest growing Management Consultancy in the Middle East.
