Job SummaryTo supervise and oversee the Trade Finance team as well as the trade finance transactions & services.Job Responsibilities 1Supervises the Trade Finance team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of expected tasks.Manages and oversees the trade finance reports (e.g., facility limits, utilization, and exposure) on a daily basis.Handles any point of escalations related to the processes in Trade FinanceEnsures timely and safe handling of Trade Finance Instruments' transactions, in accordance with the International Chamber of Commerce Uniform Customs and Practice for Documentary Credits.Ensures that Trade instruments received/issued are in compliance with Group Treasury Policies and Procedures.Ensures that transaction details are recorded to the General Ledger and the Banks Letter of Credit systemConducts relationships that will enhance the overall efficiency of the company.Acts as the liaison with Accountants, customers, and correspondent banks to settle all related documents.SkillsJob Knowledge & Skills• Knowledgeable of Basic Accounting Principles and PracticesKnowledgeable of the financial markets and bankingKnowledgeable of UCP 600, URC 522 and URDG 758Knowledgeable of SAP system• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.Job ExperienceMinimum total 10 years of experience3 years of departmental experienceMinimum 7 years in GCCCompetenciesCollaborationAccountabilityResilienceQualityLeadershipCreates Strategy - DevelopingDrives Performance - DevelopingDevelops Future Leaders - DevelopingCompliance Management L3Banking Relationships L3Letters of Credit L3Treasury Systems L3Accounts Payable L3EducationBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Pubic Administration or business administration, and other related fieldProfessional Qualification in Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
