This can only be achieved through building technology to create an interconnected network of carriers and shippers. Through this technology, Trella will improve shipping routes, increase truck utilization and efficiently batch shipments. This will effectively reduce costs throughout the entire supply chain, improving carrier and shipper economics and ensure both ends of the marketplace profitably grow their businesses - creating unprecedented economic opportunities in the logistics space - while reducing environmental waste.About The Role: At Trella, we are always seeking to innovate and deliver best-in-class service for shippers and carrier partners. You get to work at the intersection of moving economies through inland and port freight and manage key marketplace stakeholders in a fast-paced environment in an effort to drive a step-change in the industry.Key Responsibilities:Communicate with clients to build and maintain a strong working relationship.Run reports and analyze data pertaining to the department and share with executive staff and managers of department staff as needed.Develop goals that complement the overarching business goals of the company and coordinate staff to continually meet and exceed goals.Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt.Evaluate team members within the collections department to ensure a sufficient number of employees are available to handle the workload.Negotiates payment arrangements and follows up to make sure the payments are made.Key Requirements:Education: Bachelor's in Accounting/FinanceWork Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experienceStrong ownership, a bias for action, and willingness to roll-up your sleeves.Successful track record on Collection with Shippers or similar clientsRelevant experience working in a developing country.Analytics and excellent excel / google sheets skills.Experience in dealing with complex data sets, deriving insights and checking against what you see in the real world.Experience and relationships with factoring companies Trella aims to structure and regulate the freight industry with a goal of improving efficiency and reducing waste throughout the entire supply chain.
