The Project Manager manages and coordinates all aspects of project management functions related to the organization, development, and implementation of temporary in-house exhibitions, permanent gallery rotations, traveling exhibitions, and other related projects.<br />
This includes responsibility for drafting schedules, developing and tracking budgets, writing agendas, leading meetings, and facilitating communication between cross-functional teams at all levels. This position will also be called upon to assist with other institutional project management needs. Support the Museum&#39;s mission and vision, with a focus on visitor experience and community engagement<br />
Contribute to and support Ithra&#39;s strategic plan, annual priorities, as well as programs and initiatives.<br />
Contribute to a positive organizational culture based on mutual respect, a spirit of collegiality, cooperation, and openness to many perspectives.<br />
Manage all aspects of project management functions related to the organization, development, implementation, and archiving of temporary in-house exhibitions, permanent gallery rotations, traveling exhibitions, and other related projects.<br />
Good leadership and people management skills; able to lead and motivate teams during exhibition installation and de-installation.<br />
Develop and oversee project budgets and work schedules in consultation with relevant personnel; monitor project expenditures and report against targets; track and continually revise schedules and timelines<br />
Demonstrable project management skills with the ability to manage several projects concurrently, maintaining a flexible approach when working under pressure.<br />
Review, create, manage, and disseminate contracts with independent contractors related to projects assigned<br />
Plan, lead and facilitate core and cross-functional team meetings; foster productive relationships and mutual understanding between project team members and stakeholders<br />
Ability to display the competencies of strategic thinking, development of self and others and ability to deploy and align organizational strategies and objectives<br />
Ensure essential information is communicated consistently and in a timely manner with key partners<br />
Assist in the annual budgeting process<br />
Continually strive to improve project management processes across the institution<br />
Provide guidance to project coordinators in the development and management of production budgets, schedules, workflow and processes for cross functional teams<br />
Previous experience of line-managing staff.<br />
Manage the selection of contractors for exhibitions, factoring in suitability and cost efficiency for the project.<br />
Manage the Exhibitions team members including Coordinators and Gallery Technicians as directed, offering support and guidance, carrying out annual reviews.<br />

<b>Minimum Requirements</b><br />

6+ years of related experience. Proven experience in project management<br />
English and Arabic language proficiency in both spoken and written form<br />
Experience and knowledge of the process of exhibition development and installation<br />
Experience with working with curators, designers, programmers<br />
Strong communication and written skills; ability to draft business plans to determine the feasibility of undertaking new projects and create detailed reports<br />
High proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)<br />
A degree in History of Art, Design or in Museum Studies is desirable.<br />

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Mega Programs (known in the industry as Program Director) who is specialized in Petrochemicals to join our Project Management team (PMT). Project Management Team manages and executes projects usually from multiple site offices or engineering contractor design offices, geographically scattered throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<br />

The primary role is to lead and manage a division with several sections and units in charge of executing capital projects. Ensure that engineering design, procurement, construction and project completion is done in compliance with the project objective and contractual requirements i.e. project schedule, cost, HSE, company standards and procedures. The Manager role also involves managing the business aspects of the division consisting of but not limited to HR, training, cost control, schedule control, cybersecurity requirements and manpower planning.<br />

<b>Duties and responsibilities</b><br />

You will be required to perform the following:<br />

Lead the Execution of capital projects according to the scope, schedule and budget.<br />
<br />
Manage the team under the division in executing the projects and provide guidance and directives to ensure successful completion of the project.<br />

Leverage expertise in Petrochemical projects and provide the appropriate actions for the team to follow in all phases of the project.<br />
<br />
Provide the technical and project management oversight to the design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup of facilities, and close out of projects.<br />

Ensure timely resolution of project issues arising in all phases of the project development.<br />
<br />
Ensure safety measures are implemented in the projects&#39; execution.<br />
<br />
Implement company initiatives in projects and business processes under the division.<br />
<br />
Be fully familiar with company Key Performance Indices (KPIs) and achieve them for projects under the division.<br />
<br />
Prepare/Review monthly project performance reports showing the status of design, material procurement, construction, milestones, commitments, payments, charges, variances from standards, waivers and problems and present them to higher management.<br />
<br />
Anticipate and plan for changes in project scope, timing or costs. Prepare documentation and obtain management approval.<br />
<br />
Assign appropriate manpower to all parts and phases of the project.<br />
<br />
Ensure appropriate training and development paths are assigned to each division employee.<br />
<br />
Oversee and review incoming and outgoing correspondence concerning projects assigned.<br />
<br />
Ensure that proper job records are maintained on all assigned projects.<br />
<br />
Negotiate agreements and change orders with design and execution contractors.<br />
<br />
Guide and direct team members in the application of Aramco standards. Assure that variances from standards are minimized.<br />
<br />
Responsible for project development: engineering studies, licensors selection, technical bid reviews, preliminary engineering, detail design, materials procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, handover, commissioning, startup, and close out.<br />
<br />
Review weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and schedule. Attend project meetings e.g. progress, stakeholders, design review, value improvement, etc.<br />
<br />
Review of project schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned project progress and challenge below par performance of the contractor.<br />
<br />
Uphold engineering ethics and maintain high standards of professional behavior and conduct.<br />

<b>Minimum requirements</b><br />
<br />
As the successful candidate, you will hold a Bachelor&#39;s degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program. An advanced degree is preferred.<br />
<br />
You will also obtain a PMP , PgMP or equivalent certification<br />
<br />
You will have twenty years&#39; experience in project management field related to refining and petrochemical industries with a specialty in Petrochemicals. Including Seven (7) years of experience as a manager or director of projects in design, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and operation with values ranging from $500MM to $billion.<br />

As a subject matter expert;<br />

You must have Engineering Design & Construction phase experience with a thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles in the applicable International Codes, Standards and Specifications.<br />

You will have a mastery understanding of international procedures of Projects Phases, Engineering Phases, Bidding procedures, Procurement Processes, Construction Requirements and up to date Best Practices. In addition, be familiar with Saudi Aramco procedures and standards.<br />

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Unconventional Resources Engineering and Project Management Department (UREPMD). UREPMD are responsible for building facilities in different asset areas throughout Saudi Arabia. They also provide guidance, advice, monitoring, and assistance to the organization with compliance to corporate safety, health and environmental requirements. Your primary role will be to develop methods for guidance, control and corrective action to ensure a safe operable and economic design within the framework of the project&#39;s budget, material requirements, specifications and schedule. You should be an expert in one or more disciplines that directly affect project performance, including but not limited to planning and scheduling, project execution, estimation, cost engineering, geomatics, value engineering, and other value improvement practices.<br />
<br />
<b>Key Responsibilities</b><br />
<br />
As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: Provide expert advice and guidance in project planning, project execution, and/or project control. Assist in resolving project management problems related to your area of expertise, including project planning deficiencies, project quality defects (in engineering, procurement, or construction), schedule slippages, and potential cost over runs. Work closely with project engineers and other project professionals to provide work direction and guidance. Formulate and implement strategies to improve project planning, cost, schedule, and/or quality. Evaluate existing tools and methodologies in your area of expertise and make recommendations on their implementation at Saudi Aramco. Lead internal or external problem-solving teams as directed by management. Conduct training courses in your area of expertise. Train and mentor developing engineers and other project management professionals. Participate in the development of standards, guidelines, instructions, policies and procedures on an as-required basis. Participate in the review and evaluation of the capabilities of E&C contractors, suppliers, and project management related service providers.<br />

<b>Minimum Requirements</b><br />
<br />
You must hold a Bachelor degree in Electrical/instrumentation Engineering. A higher degree would be preferred. You should have a minimum of 15 years&#39; experience, including at least 6 years in your main field with an emphasis on initial engineering stages with Project Management Professional certification by AACE, PMI, or a professional engineering board is required. You must be capable of evaluating and consulting on project problems where precedents are lacking or on problems where a high degree of specialized knowledge is required. You should be familiar with planning and scheduling methods such as CPM and PERT, company accounting practices, project accountability budgeting and the expenditures and financials portions of the project.<br />
