We invite you to join us. Our newestopportunity is for a talented Urban Designer to join our alliedpractice, InSite (Doha, Qatar studio) . InSite are urban designers,planners and landscape architects who share a love for the craft ofdesigning the built environment and consist of a diverse studio ofdesigners from around the world. The Urban Designer will work underthe direction of more senior staff and in collaboration with otherteam members on master planning and urban development projectsacross all KEO markets and will bring a passion for creativity,storytelling, artistry, and positive energy to our design studiosacross the GCC. The ideal candidate will have strong creative andproblem-solving skills and an ability to provide meaningfulcontributions within our fast-paced, creative environment. To besuccessful for this role, candidates must demonstrate theirexperience from a design-oriented background and be passionateabout their role in the design and construction of cities.Responsibilities Responsibilities in this role will include: -Positive and sociable personality with a desire for collaboration.- Being self-motivated with the ability to work with limitedsupervision - Demonstrating an understanding of the underlyingspatial arrangements that give form and character to urban areasvia the interrelationship between built and open spaces. -Assisting in the preparation of conceptual, preliminary anddetailed urban designs, site layouts and supporting materials(reports, maps, drawings) for master planning and urban developmentprojects. - Coordinateing with other disciplines involved in masterplanning and urban development projects. - Assisting in thepreparation and presentation of plans and reports to clients andregulators. - Demonstrating an understanding of the productiontechniques, procedures, and standards related to urban planning anddesign projects.
