This senior role requiresstrong partnership with all internal & externalstakeholders in handling highly complex procurement tasks. The jobhas a focus on enabling & implementing strategy where itinvolves overall planning, developing & sourcing allprocurement functions effectively, meeting all the operational,organizational, and departmental business objectives. This includesboth day-to-day and procurement, and with an additional focus onlonger term arrangements with suppliers to ensure any roadblocksare removed in regard to meeting the business needs on price, safelanding, quality & timeliness of procured materials andservices. As a senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deepfunctional and technical expertise in each multi-engineering (i.e.electrical, mechanical etc.) domain in marine and offshore projectsoperational requirements, the position focuses on improving the waythe purchases and inventories are managed in terms of value.Achieved through investigating the market with specifications andperformance requirements of the material and services which accruesto the organization. Ensure that all purchasing activities areconducted in a fair and transparent manner for all stakeholdersinvolved and in full compliance with the department'spolicies and procedures to the best interest of organization andminimizes the commercial risks during the contract managementprocess and procurement phase.
