Responsibilities Your CommitmentThe successful candidate will help in groundbreaking research in the design, simulation, fabrication, and testing of innovative metamaterial structures. The Research Assistant will be responsible for conducting experiments, utilizing electromagnetic software, and contributing to our research in microwave measurement and material properties.Responsibilities:Work closely with the research team to design and optimize innovative material and metamaterial structure for maximum RCS reduction. Investigate different metamaterial topologies and materials to achieve adaptable performance.Fabricate material and metamaterial prototypes and conduct thorough testing to validate performance under various conditions. Operate and maintain specialized measurement equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection.Analyze and interpret research data, providing valuable insights to the team.Collaborate on the preparation of research papers and grant proposal writing, as well as contributing to technical reports and documentation.Maintain a well-organized and safe laboratory environment, adhering to research protocols and safety guidelines.Qualifications: Qualifications The candidates must have a MSc. in Electromagnetic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Microwave Engineering, or a related discipline from a renowned university. The potential candidates should have a demonstrated record of scholarship and a track record of excellence in research. The candidate should have a solid background on electromagnetic simulation tools and microwave measurement systems. The candidates should have experience with the operation of the laboratory electromagnetic measurement devices and systems. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.Preferable research experiencesExperience: Strong background in metamaterial design, simulation, and measurement.Technical Skills: Ability to develop and analyze metamaterials utilizing electromagnetic simulation tools and software (e.g., Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave Studio).Research Experience: A proven track record of relevant research projects, publications in reputable journals, and conference presentations in the field of applied electromagnetics.Team player: Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including engineers, physicists, and material scientists.
