Job details
• Must be able to accomplish surveysand translate collected GPS data into AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D2012 for each survey or project.• Makesdetailed field notes of record data and field observationscontaining tabular and graphical data in accordance withestablished standards for survey field notes.•Utilizes automated field survey codes and equipment to collect anddocument survey data in accordance with project specificrequirements.• Read, analyze and interpretengineering/construction plans and perform field survey work fromblueprints, shop drawings and sketches.• Workwith survey crew in schedule with project inspectors, contractors,engineers and others, plans and carries out the assignment,resolves most conflicts that arise.• Keepsupervisor informed of progress, potentially controversial matters,or far reaching implications. Work is reviewed in terms offeasibility, compatibility with other work, or effectiveness ofresults.• Participates as part of a workingteam, providing and maintaining a steady workflow while respondingto changing needs.
