As a Assistant Manager you will be managing the everyday operations of the venue, from overseeing the entire restaurant team to serving guests and driving best-in-class standards.The scope of duties and responsibilities include ensuring excellent guest service, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and training all levels of team members. The goal is to promote outstanding guest service and increase the profitability of the venue.(Some of) What you will be doing:Seek opportunities to increase sales through various techniques.Managing the restaurant when the RM is not present, in accordance with brand values to achieve company-set objectives.Assist in driving all aspects of the business, including cost of goods (COGs) and margin control.Manage appropriate inventory & cost of goods control completing daily / weekly / monthly sales reports.Oversee accurate banking procedures, inventory & reporting.Train, develop & monitor all team members to ensure consistent demonstration of required guest service standards.Set goals with team members prior to each shift and ensure well run shifts all day, every day.Help the RM conduct team member evaluations and appraisals as per the company standards. Coach & direct all, Supervisors and Lead Legends to ensure all trainees are receiving proper training.Spend time before, during & after each shift with all new team members training within the restaurant.Maintain proper staffing and scheduling to ensure quality guest service and within the staffing budget.Respond immediately to maintenance or cleanliness problems throughout each shift.Ensure sanitation requirements are adhered to by all team members.Notify the maintenance team to repair any broken restaurant equipment.Serves as a role model and sets a positive example for the entire team in all aspects of business and personnel management.Ensure food meets specifications on presentation and recipe.Ensure food is served in a timely manner as per Franchise/Restaurant requirements.Model excellent hospitality within the team by demonstrating the desired behavior of guest interaction.Properly represent the restaurant in all dealings with the public & our guests.Inform Restaurant and Area Managers of any situation that may adversely affect the ongoing day to day or long term operations of the restaurant.Immediately communicate to Team Members any changes in Policy or Procedure & any directives from the company.
