Job details
Lifting supervisors appointed fortower or mobile cranes at the worksites must complete the LiftingSupervisors Safety Course conducted by an accredited trainingprovider.To review and advice the liftingplanObserve, coordinate and supervise alllifting activities in accordance to the LiftingPlanBriefing all lifting team members (i.e.,crane operators, riggers and signalmen) on the Lifting Plan, riskcontrol measure and safe lifting procedure before the commencementof any lifting operationEnsuring that onlyregistered crane operators, appointed riggers and appointedsignalmen participate in any lifting operation involving the use ofmobile and tower cranesEnsuring that theground conditions are safe for any lifting operation to beperformed by mobile cranesBe present duringall lifting operations;To take suitablemeasures when unsafe conditions arereported.Also, to rectify the conditions sothat the lifting operation can be conductedsafelyContribute and execution of riskassessment, job safety analysis, safety procedures / check list,safety records anddocumentation.
