About the roleThe Sales Managerwill demonstrate the following key characteristics: •Strong leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills •Creativity in connecting with decision-makers • Goaldriven and assertive in pursuing lead opportunities • Havea solid work ethic, can-do attitude and a passion for service. Whatyou will do• Generates hotels/resorts awareness throughdirect phone sales; direct sales calls, tradeshows and networkinggroups. Works closely with sales and marketing teams to solicit,sell and confirm business required to meet budgeted sales goals fortheir property.• Candidate should possess the ability tosolicit leisure and group travel. This position requires a highdegree of independent judgement and discretion on decision makingand managing confidential information of the property.•Has the ability to be a Public Ambassador for Four Seasons Hotels.• Luxury hotel Sales background and proven sales trackrecord required. • Identify and target leisure agenciesthat will generate business on behalf of hotels but not conflictwith WSO efforts. • Utilize various prospecting resourcesto solicit and secure business on behalf of hotels. • Usecompany wide programs, sales developments, prospecting projects,WSO customer events and reporting for leisure business development.• Follow up on all business inquiries and leads andqualify business to generate leisure room nights. • Createand execute account plans for assigned market territory to ensuremaximum leisure revenue and budgeted leisure targets are achievedfor the property. • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annualrevenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls,prospecting calls, site inspections, and entertainment as outlined.• Assist the Director of Sales in the development of newprograms and sales campaigns in an effort to obtain additionalsales from the various market niches. • Assist theDirector of Sales with the implementation, follow-through andupdating of the quarterly action plans. • Explores newways to increase revenue. • Fluency in English and Arabicis an advantage • Pre-opening experience is aplus• Passion for being innovative and able to quicklyadapt to changing environments/demands• Adhere to FourSeasons Hotel s standards as well as policies andprocedures• Complies with Four Seasons Category One andCategory Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth inEmployee Handbook• Works harmoniously and professionallywith all co-workers What you bring• Preferably has luxuryhotel & resort experience• Sales &Marketing background • 4-6 years of experience in relatedfield• Excellent command in English, Arabic is anadvantage What we offer: Opportunities to build a successful careerwith global potential Unique strong culture - diversity of 50different nationalities Living accommodation in a high quality,well-resourced apartment Excellent Training and DevelopmentopportunitiesEmployee Recognition Programs Complimentary nights atFS Hotels WorldwidePaid annual home leave tickets Complimentarymeals in employee restaurants Free transportation to work Medicalcoverage Learn more about employment with FourSeasons:
