Job details
Responsiblity:Receivingorders from customers via mail, phone, or other electronicmeans.Obtaining customers' detailsand billing information, and entering the information correctly onthe order form.Notifying departments whensupplies of items are low, or when orders could deplete availablesupplies.Informing customers about prices,shipping dates, and anticipateddelays.Preparing invoices, shipping documents,and contracts.Forwarding information to thecorrect departments for delivery of theorder.Inspecting outgoing orders to ensurecompliance with customerspecifications.Reviewing orders forcompleteness and forwarding incomplete orders for furtherprocessing.Liaising with production, sales,shipping, warehouse, or delivery personnel to trace or accelerateshipments.Recommending merchandise or servicesthat will meet or improve upon customers'needs.
