• Analysis local market trends andcompetitor activity to identify business leads•Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drivebusiness into the specific hotel/cluster and to increasemarket/customer share in all revenue streams•Negotiate room rates/packages with corporateclients• Develop and implement creative localmarketing channels, including social mediachannels• Prepare company contracts for thehotel in accordance with current business and pricingconditions• Work within current businessstrategies and recognising potentialopportunities• Cooperate with other departmentsin the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and buildstrong, comprehensive sales programs• AttendSales events, as required• Produce accurate andtimely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and seniormanagement to include the reporting of appointments, calls made andbusiness leads• Answer customer queries in aprompt and professional manner• Manage staffperformance in compliance with company policies andprocedures• Recruit, manage, train and developthe Sales team
