Position: Denter Automotive BodyTechnicianJob Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilledDenter to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate willspecialize in repairing and refurbishing the bodywork of vehiclesdamaged in accidents or due to general wear and tear. The Denterwill be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, performing repairwork, and ensuring that vehicles are restored to their originalcondition.Key Responsibilities:• DamageAssessment:• Inspect and assess vehicle damage todetermine the necessary repair work.• Prepare detailedreports on the extent of damage and the expected repair work andcosts.• Bodywork Repair:• Perform denting work torepair damaged vehicle frames and body parts.• Utilize avariety of tools and equipment, including hammers, dolly sets, andbody files, to remove dents and restore vehicle bodies to theiroriginal shape.• Welding and Fabrication:•Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed to repair orreplace vehicle body parts.• Ensure all welding work meetsindustry standards and safety regulations.• FinishingWork:• Apply fillers and other materials to repairedsurfaces to prepare them for painting.• Sand, buff, andpolish repaired body parts to create a smooth, finishedsurface.• Quality Control:• Inspect repairedvehicles to ensure that the work meets quality standards and thevehicle's functionality is restored.• Coordinatewith the paint department to ensure color match and overallaesthetic integrity.Requirements EssentialQualifications:• High School diploma or equivalent;certification or vocational training in automotive body repair ishighly preferred.• Proven experience as a Denter orAutomotive Body Technician.• In-depth knowledge of vehiclebody repair techniques and tools.Benefits SkillsRequired:• Strong attention to detail and commitment toquality workmanship.• Proficient in the use of tools andequipment related to denting and body repair.• Knowledgeof welding and fabrication techniques.• Good communicationskills and the ability to work well in a team.• Physicalstamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in variouspositions.Specific Criteria or Requirements:• Validdriver's license.• Willingness to work overtimeand on weekends when necessary.• Commitment to followingindustry safety standards and protocols
