The IMS Training Instructor is responsiblefor preparing and delivering both theoretical and practicaltraining, relating to the IMS, and assessing trainee performanceand evaluating the efficacy of the training system. Formal Trainingwill occur within the Qatar Typhoon Training Facility (QTTF)augmented by mentored training within the operational environment,as required. Key aspects ofthe IMS training instructor role includes:-Preparation and delivery of the allocated course in accordance withthe authorised Syllabus, and associated materials, in line thetraining schedule- Invigilating and markingexaminations and assessments and markingassessments.- The continuous assessment,evaluation and reporting of trainee progress-Reporting trainee absences to your training manager and/or Head ofMaintenance.- Ensuring that equipment pre-usechecks are carried out and associated approved data is availablebefore training commences- Ensuring training isconducted safely and that training areas, including training aids,classrooms, workshops are left in a safecondition- Maintaining discipline of yourallocated trainees at all times; this includes break times andduring changeover between training areas-Reporting trainee absences to your TrainingManager- Training Instructor - IMS isexpected to fulfil specific roles in support of the QTTF (whenappointed by the Training Manager):CourseCoordinator.SubjectLead.Equipmentcoordinator.Other duties as determined by theTraining Manager.- Development and maintenanceof their own Instructor competencies.- Activelycommit to continuous improvement as an integral part of the primaryduties by identifying and reporting course deficiencies (omissionsand/or inaccuracies) and improvements to the training system andmaterials to the Training Manager.
