Job details
Carry out preventive andcorrective maintenance of all firefighting trucks and equipment asrequested by Supervisor and client;Provideperiodic inspection and maintenance of the non-chassis systems ofthe vehicles including but not limited to PTO drive systems,lockers and hamper, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatics systems,fire and hydraulic pumps, prime movers, cranes / lifting equipment(including load tests) etc. and for the miscellaneous vehicles,items such as engines, drive system, hydraulic system, a/c, boometc. in accordance with the specifications and recommendations ofthe vehicle OEMs, as well as the activities listed in the Service /Check Sheets;Install, replace, fix andmaintain materials and spare parts associated with firefightingequipment;Identify faults and troubleshootfailures and breakdown of firefightingequipment;Complete necessary documentationpertaining to all work undertaken - i.e. dailymaintenance and inspection reports and maintain database and manualfiling system;Liaise with Service Supervisorfor supply of spare parts consumables required to maintainwork;Maintain all tools and equipment inworking order and keep its inventory;.Take anactive part in Toolbox talks, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), riskassessment and any other safetyduty.
