Our Middle East operations have an excitingopportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Officer to joinour office in Qatar. As a key member of a team, this position willsee you developing and implementing the Health and SafetyManagement System in line with Qatar's legislativeframework as well as the requirements of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 1800-Minimum 10 years' relevant construction HSE experience• NEBOSH qualification (NEBOSH Diploma or InternationalGeneral Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, in Healthand Safety) • Capable Auditor with sound knowledge of ISO18001, 9001 and ISO 14001 (preferably certified by an InternationalAccreditation Body) • The ability to set up HSE processesand procedures for the safe running of a construction site.• Performing all the Health, Safety and Environmentresponsibilities (HSE in accordance with company HSE managementsystem and codes • Experience in delivering and preparingtraining and technical presentations to staff and clients• In continuous monitoring of safety inspections andissues as they occur on site and making reports on a daily, weeklyand monthly basis • Training the staff on HSE codes andpractices • Conducting risk analysis, job hazard and jobsafety analysis • Accident / incident investigation andreporting • Experience working in the Middle East regionis essential. • Experience working in ConstructionConsultancy is essential • *Why GHD? • *Being thebest we can be is in our culture.
