McKie Recruit are seeking anenthusiastic and hard-working person to join our clients rapidlyexpanding housing disrepair team. This is an excellent opportunityfor someone who is keen to pursue a career in law (particularly incivil litigation) and has a passion for working in a fast pacedgrowing law firm. A training contract may also be available for theright candidate.Thesuccessful candidate will be:Calling potential new clients to talk them through ourquestionnaire and ask follow up questions to extract theinformation needed to make an assessment of aclaim;Setting up and maintaining cases on our case managementsystem;Arranging and confirming appointments forclients;Requesting and obtaining certain instructions from clients toenable claims to beprogressed;Reviewing information and providing summaries to fee earners;andGeneral office based administrativetasks.Experience of completing general administrative tasks in highvolumesExperience and skill in the drafting of clear but professionalletters ande-mailsA good telephone manner and generally a good way and manner withclientsEnthusiasm to learn and a desire to succeed in the legalprofession.Requirements Law degree or equivalent(essential)LPC(Desirable)2 years experience in the legal sector(Desirable)BenefitsTraining opportunities will be provided to develop and further yourcareer in law- and possibility to earn a training contract.Company pensionWorking for a dynamic and fast growing law firm Lawdegree or equivalent (essential) LPC (Desirable) 2 years experiencein the legal sector (Desirable)
