Job DescriptionWhat you will be doing:Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, looking for someone accountable for proactively soliciting and finding sales opportunities. Ensures business is turned over properly. Assists in leading all day-to-day activities related to sales with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. Achieves personal sales goals. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Responsible for achieving hotel targets by optimizing revenues through the deployment accounts, as well as prospecting new business through the source markets assigned. The key measurement of performance will be performance versus the revenue goalsManaging the government segment. Managing regional accounts within various geographic areas especially GCC, ensuring revenue maximization, achievement of personal targetsSecuring revenue for different revenue streams, Rooms, Meetings & Events, and F&B.Implementing an action plan to increase the hotel ADR and total hotel revenueConduct site inspections and participate in travel shows, GSO activitiesManage Semi Government and General Services identities to increase the hotel's shareAccounts' business reviews with strategic business partners to evaluate the performance and build/enhance the accounts' commercial plan accordingly SMART contracting to ensure optimum yielding during annual rate negotiationsWeekly sales activities with resultsUnderstands the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, etc. and knows how to sell against them.QualificationsYour experience and skills include: 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in sales and marketing or related professional area. OR 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year experience in sales and marketing or related professional areaThree (3) years experience in a Sales position, preferably in a global hotel chainLocal market experience is mandatory.
