Expert knowledge of Python, VBA,SQL, and ideally Javascript and web appdevelopmentExpertise in building andimplementing large structureddatabasesExtensive knowledge and experience inthe implementation and use of visualisation and reporting tools andmodels, ideally within a front office commodities tradingenvironmentExtensive experience developingfront office trading tools and models using a variety oftechnologies and techniquesKnowledge ofETL/ETLS and Data Warehousing concepts andtechnologiesAbility to implement solutionsusing Agile methods, including prototyping and tactical solutionsto meet the short-term and dynamic needs of thebusinessIdeally, ability to build andimplement data retrieval APIsExcellentstakeholder management skills, at a variety of organisationallevels. Ability to manage vendors and if required negotiate andmanage vendor contracts (e.g .data providers, softwarelicencing)Excellent written and verbalcommunications skillsIdeally a tradingbackground and understanding of the commodities trading business.Knowledge and experience dealing with LNG/G&P data typesand data sourcesSelf-reliance andself-sufficiency; willingness to help build a business from theground upwards in a phased manner but with quick short-termsolutions essential for success. Strong delivery focus iscritical.
