Job details
Responsiblity:Developingprocurement strategies that are inventive andcost-effective.Sourcing and engaging reliablesuppliers and vendors.Negotiating withsuppliers and vendors to secure advantageousterms.Reviewing existing contracts withsuppliers and vendors to ensure on-goingfeasibility.Building and maintaining long-termrelationships with vendors andsuppliers.Approving purchase orders andorganizing and confirming delivery of goods andservices.Performing risk assessments onpotential contracts and agreements.Controllingthe procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term savingon procurement costs.Overseeing and managingthe IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply ofgoods.Preparing procurementreports.
