Job Summary and Purpose: Manage all financialactivities related to QFAB to ensure informative, timely andaccurate management reports in compliance with applicable laws,rules and regulations. As well as manage and implement sustainablefinancial controls to ensure QFAB operations and business are in aprofitable manner. Accountabilities: Strategic Accountabilities: 1.Contribute to the formulation of the divisional strategy inalignment with NAKILAT and QFAB strategies, and support itsimplementation. 2. Participate in translating the divisionalstrategy into annual business plan, monitor implementation andprogress, and recommend corrective actions as needed. 3. Plan,develop and lead an efficient and robust Finance function tosupport QFAB's strategic planning initiatives, operationsand activities. Key Accountabilities: Internal Controls: 4. Developthe Company financial policies and procedures and oversee theirproper implementation to support the financial practices andachieve the planned objectives. 5. Oversee all applicable financialcontrols and ensure adequate assessment and mitigation of risk aswell as compliance with applicable regulatory and other legalrequirements. Financial Management: 6. Provide an independent andconstructive perspective to commercial and operations teams, toensure the business decisions are grounded on solid financialcriteria. 7. Support QFAB MD with insights on the Financialposition of the Company, by presenting an objective view of theFinancial situation and providing sound recommendations for theallocations of resources in the most efficient way to achieve thebusiness goals and objectives. 8. Oversee the activity-basedcosting and make recommendations for cost reduction and profitimprovement. 9. Lead all function's objectives and KPIsset by the Company in accordance with the approved plan andtimelines. 10. Review the monthly budget variances analysis andsegments profitability and recommend corrective action to avoidadverse variances and deviation from the business plan. 11. Overseecash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed. 12.Oversee the relationship with various stakeholders; i.e. externalauditors and Nakilat Finance. Knowledge Transfer: 13. Build theteam skills, through transformation initiatives and major changeprograms, and raise awareness and knowledge of applicable financialpolicies and procedures. 14. Manage QFAB Finance staff to deliverthe set functional objectives. Accountabilities - 2: GenericAccountabilities: People Leadership: 15. Manage QFAB finance staff,cascade the objectives and priorities and ensure the teamcapability to accomplish the day-to-day finance related activities,by ensuring continuous training and professional education for theteam members as required. Change Management: 16. Contribute tomanaging change in the team by providing inputs for and taking partin change initiatives, programs and projects that are aligned withthe Company strategy and best practice. Safety, Health, Quality,& Environment (SHEQ) 17. Oversee and ensure compliance withall relevant SHEQ policies, procedures and controls across thefinance function. Budgets and Plans: 18. Oversee the budgetpreparation and execution, rolling forecasts and cost management,in alignment with the Company's strategic plan. Systemsand Processes: 19. Lead the transformation related to digitaltechnology to effectively manage, analyze and present data in a waythat yields the greatest value for the business. Others: 20.Oversee the year-end audit task and ensure appropriate monitoringand supporting of disclosed numbers in the Financial Statements andnotes. 21. Carry out other strategic duties as directed by NakilatChairman, QFAB MD and Nakilat CFO.
