Job details
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles. Prepare budgets and financial forecasts. Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Publish financial statements in compliance with stipulated deadlines. Conduct month-end and year-end close process. Prepare monthly and yearly Zakat declaration statements. Audit financial transactions and document accounting control procedures. Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements. Liaise with banks, external accountants and auditors as required. In close coordination with the Head of Leasing and Clubhouse and Services Manager, follow up on outstanding receivable invoices for services provided by their respective departments. Develop periodic reports for management. Document financial transactions by entering account information. Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions REQUIREMENTS Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an accountant, preferably for a property management company and/or hotel. Computer proficiency - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for accounting purposes, and intermediate knowledge of other Microsoft Office Applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environment. Ability to work well under pressure, multitasks, and delegate to team members as required. Excellent grooming standards and professional appearance
