One of our prestigious clients in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking to hire HVAC Ducting Supervisor, who will be responsible for but not limited to:Job OverviewOur Client is currently seeking a highly skilled HVAC Ducting Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC ducting systems within our shipbuilding organization. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all HVAC ducting activities meet stringent industry standards and regulatory requirements.ResponsibilitiesDirect and supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC ducting systems onboard vessels, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.Act as a mentor to trainees in the HVAC ducting department, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to facilitate their growth and development. Document trainee progress and provide feedback to aid in their professional advancement.Utilize your certification as an assessor or readiness to obtain one to assess and certify HVAC ducting systems and personnel as per organizational and regulatory requirements.Leverage your experience working at prominent shipbuilding organizations to introduce and implement best practices in HVAC ducting operations. Share knowledge and insights to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.Ensure that all HVAC ducting activities adhere to top classification society standards and requirements such as IACS, ABS, BV, DNV, LR, RINA, etc. Maintain accurate documentation to demonstrate compliance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, quality assurance, and project management to ensure seamless coordination and execution of HVAC ducting activities.Effectively manage resources including manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize HVAC ducting processes and meet project deadlines.Champion a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and risk mitigation measures across HVAC ducting operations. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred, with additional certifications or training in HVAC ducting systems being advantageous.Proficient English communication skills with a minimum IELTS band score of 7 or equivalent, essential for mentoring trainees and documenting their progress.Documented history of being a certified assessor or eligibility to become one, demonstrating the ability to assess and certify HVAC ducting systems and personnel.Proven track record of working at prominent shipbuilding organizations, with significant experience in HVAC ducting operations. Bring along best practices and behaviors to enhance operations.Demonstrated experience working on projects adhering to top classification society standards/requirements such as IACS, ABS, BV, DNV, LR, RINA, etc.
