Job details
Qualification Required.
BS in Petroleum Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 12 years of experience in drilling engineering and operations.
Or
Vocational College / Diploma or equivalent with min 15 years of expereince in Drilling Engineering and Operations.
Experitse in deviated drilling includig short radius horizontal wells. Offshore jackup drilling exp. with in depth knowledge of top drive units, measurement while drilling (MWD) technology and oil base muds.
Exp. in dirlling HPHT wells / Unconventional Wells. Â Â
Should have valid IADC and H2s Certificate.
Responsibilities.
Serve as the primary liaison between client and client contractors and shall provide supervison of all opertions performed on clinet wells.
ensure that client contractors meet all contract requirements and shall verify and approve all client contractor and service company operations by way of tour reports and field tickets.
make recommendations on alternative methods in resolving defects of equipment when unusual situations are encountered and coordinate timely deliveries of materials and equipments to the well as required.
ensure to maintain the rig and equipment adequately to maximize efficiency and minimize down time and that client materials and equipment are properly utilized, handled and stored and report to client for any misuse by contractors of these materials and equipment.
Train and instruct rig hands on job training (OUT) performance. Mentor rig hands at rig site. Evaluate Gap assessment, write and prepare stuck pipe/fishing technial courses.
follow up with client on stuck pipe incidents, accustom courses contents to D& WO operations.
Diagonose stuck pipe and fishing problems and recommend solutions.
Must have excellent communciation skills.
Extensive drilling & workover experience internationally as Drilling Supervosr with both offshroe and onshore dirlling operations. Â
