Responsible for the coordination, Contractexecution and monitoring / enforcement of Company engineering andconstruction standards at the Contractor fabrication facilities.Work throughout the project life cycle with Contractor engineeringand Construction Site personnel, Company engineers, and otherCompany site personnel to achieve project realisation that meet orexceed the Company requirements and objectives. Tasks And Duties• A Provide technical consultancy and support as requiredthroughout the piping design, engineering and yard fabrication.• Verify the isometric drawings and line list, materialtake off, detail drawings, support drawing, and generally allconstruction-related drawings. Ensure technical assistance on sitefor mechanical issues, site sketches etc. Review and comment onmechanical engineering deliverables (PFD P&ID, HAZOP& HAZID studies, data sheets, Layout, Isometric drawingsetc.). • Ensure all engineering and execution works arecarried out in accordance with Company Norms and Standards andmeets those requirements. • Review as-built documentationincluding drawings to comply with Company requirements. •Review isometrics and general arrangement drawings issued forconstruction. • Analyze and comment engineeringmodifications submitted by Contractors and provide necessaryconsultancy to the project execution. • Check methodstatements and provide input related to engineering designs.• Check project technical documents and applicable codesand specifications for tolerances and stresses. • Beinvolved in all reviews and approvals as required and implementCompany engineering standards, policies and procedures. •Check prefabrication site engineering activities forquality/quantity/safety reasons. • Liaison with CompanyStakeholders, project engineering team and Contractors. •Continuously check and monitor the execution of the site works toensure compliance with Company requirements and contractspecifications. • Issue specific reports related toengineering, installation, testing and acceptance. •Follow up any management instructions and related tasks associatedwith the fabrication. • Act as first contact point forContractors for any clarification relevant to engineering issues.• Check the correct installation of special pipe supportsand the use of correct type of standard support. • Supplyrequired information for construction reports. • Provideassistance in pre-commissioning and commissioning activity asrequired. Assist with any Punch lists & check sheets.• Monitor Project HSE Plan requirements and enforceconformity through regular monitoring and participating in remedialactions. • Monitor development, implementation, trackingand maintaining of the Project Safety Plan (including relevantKPIs). Ensure safe performance in all aspects and phases of theproject • Appraise the contractors performance on theproject execution to ensure the work is performed in accordancewith contract requirements and project specifications of highquality and in a safe manner within the project schedule.• Participate in risk assessment strategies to reduce therisks. • Participate in all site risk assessments andcomment on any mitigation measures to be implemented, and advise oncritical tasks including namely scaffolding, transportation andheavy lifting as required.
