Job Description:

Wood is currently recruiting for a TPE V/ Principal Piping Stress Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry for Saudi Arabia Eastern region.
  1. Competent with static / Dynamic / Vibration Analysis
  2. Underground nonmetallic piping & extensive experience of AIV and FIV report preparation
  3. Static analysis for super critical lines
  4. Performs calculations of critical piping networks like lines connected to Static equipment, rotary equipment, Vibrating service lines, PSV lines and rack lines, storage tanks and Wellheads
  5. Carry out WRC and Stress calculations
  6. Prepare specification for Stress analysis and supports
  7. Preparation of Critical line list based on project specification
  8. Preparing Civil loading / Interface with other discipline
  9. Rack piping design including loop sizing, anchor fixing and spacing
  10. Ensure all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
  11. Support and mentor junior engineers and designers
  12. Extensive experience in stress and dynamic analysis with 15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  13. Proficient in Caesar-II
  14. Knowledge of, and experienced in the use of ASME, API, and ISO codes and standards
  15. Knowledge of Piping codes ASME B-31.3, 31.4 & 31.8
  16. Knowledge of Nozzle Pro software for nozzle load qualification and for nozzle stiffness values
  17. Knowledge of Nozzle Pro SIF stiffness values to calculate SIF for lateral TEE
  18. Prior experience within Brownfield projects within the Oil & Gas industry is essential
  19. Knowledge of transportation analysis
  20. Hands on experience on GRE piping stress analysis
  21. Familiar with Energy Institute Guidelines
  22. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with the client
  23. Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize
