Aramco is seeking an Engineering Specialist to join the Fuels & Chemicals R&D Division of the Research & Development Center (R&DC). The Fuels & Chemicals R&D Division is responsible for the development of new & improved technologies in the areas of hydrocarbon processing, refining and petrochemicals.<br />

The Engineering Specialist primary role is to lead technology development projects related to direct conversion of crude oil into petrochemicals. She/he should be familiar with simulation software packages such as Aspen Plus/Aspen HYSYS, capital cost estimation, and techno-economic assessments of R&D projects. Highly knowledgeable in refining and petrochemical conversion processes especially Fluid catalytic cracking (FCC), Hydrocracking, and Steam Cracking.<br />
Highly skilled in developing chemical engineering calculations (mass and energy balances, utilities consumption...etc) and analyzing experimental data.<br />
Able to analyze/comprehend techno-economic assessments of R&D projects<br />

As a recognized company expert in the chemical business, IK Liquids to Chemicals Development Admin Area is developing the production, shipping and marketing of refined products, chemical liquids and chemical solids as an alternative route-to-market for our oil and gas resources. Feedstock & Product Supply Chain & Logistics Specialist is responsible to developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy for one or more integrated refinery and petrochemical complexes, acts as technical consultant and subject matter expert in supply chain management and logistics and lead development of supply chain strategy, including Solis and Liquid chemicals products packaging, storing & transportation infrastructure development by 3rd party, finalizing operation & maintenance service providers, channels-to-market, capital investment, and sourcing decisions.<br />

<b>Duites and Responsibilities</b><br />

&bull; Developing and implementing a comprehensive Feedstocks & Products supply chain strategy for one or more integrated refinery and petrochemical Green field & Brown field complexes.<br />
&bull; Reviewing plans/deliverables for new integrated refinery and petrochemical projects to ensure that they comply with Company Standards and Regulations as well as industry codes related to supply chain management and logistics.<br />
&bull; Acts as technical consultant and subject matter expert in Feedstocks and Products supply chain management and logistics.<br />
&bull; Lead the Feedstock & Products supply chain aspects of prefeasibility/feasibility studies as well as pre-FEED/FEED design phases for refinery and petrochemical projects. Participating in EPC studies for refinery and petrochemical projects.<br />
&bull; Developing Philosophies for OSBL/ISBL Interconnecting Pipelines for the products and feedstocks from marine terminal to the refinery and petrochemical facilities and vice versa including cross-country pipelines (e.g. Ethane, Crude, etc.)<br />
&bull; Developing Philosophies for Solid products (e.g. Polymers) Logistics from manufacturing unit to customers including but not limited to Packaging, warehousing, transportation etc.<br />
&bull; Develop, review, and analyze Technical & Functional reviews and engineering documents related to Feedstock & Product supply chain and logistics for refineries and petrochemical complexes such as, but not limited to, marine terminals, jetties, berths, logistics hubs, liquids and solids handling centers, in-bound and out-bound pipelines to and from the facilities, rail/road systems to transport products to the marine, warehouses, packaging, etc.<br />
&bull; Develop and negotiate 3rd party Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreements, supply agreements, joint development agreements, definitive agreements, and other commercial aspects for supply chain systems (e.g. sourcing of raw materials/chemicals, multi-logistics hub, centralized refined and chemicals storage tanks, containers import/export facility, bulk marine import/export facility etc.) of refinery and petrochemical projects.<br />
&bull; lead commercial negotiations and projects development for 3rd party supply chain and logistics projects executed using 3rd party business models such as Build/Own/Operate (BOO), Build/Own/Operate/Transfer (BOOT), etc.<br />
&bull; Develop timelines, track, and drive 3rd party developed packages towards successful completion of projects.<br />
&bull; Run end to end supply chain assessment to ensure smooth delivery of finished products Solids & Liquid Chemicals from source to destination.<br />
&bull; Work with projects team, Contracts and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors for sourcing raw materials to the facilities and supply chain elements such as marine terminal, logistics hub, etc.<br />
&bull; Coordinate with product off takers to understand market supply and demand for solids & liquid chemical products produced from the facilities.<br />
&bull; Identify, assess and optimize the material flow and risk trade-offs across the supply chain at a tactical or strategic level (inventory, purchasing costs, production costs, logistics costs, product quality, asset utilization, productivity and customer service).<br />
&bull; Test supply chain design scenarios, process variability and trade-offs through simulation modelling techniques.<br />
&bull; Develop Feedstock and Products supply chain procedures, including inventory management, warehousing, automation, systems integration, and distribution.<br />
&bull; Collecting and interpreting analytical and performance data to determine supply chain KPIs.<br />
&bull; Daily Interaction with different Organizations to interpret, analyze, and act on their needs and requirements related to the Feedstock, Raw Materials and Products supply chain & Logistics management, pipelines systems and infrastructure.<br />

	<li>Excellent negotiation skills and strong commercial/business acumen. Experience in commercial negotiations and projects development for 3rd party business model projects such as Build/Own/Operate (BOO), Build/Own/Operate/Transfer (BOOT), etc.</li>
	<li>Strong knowledge on Feedstock & Product supply chain operation and management in refineries and petrochemical complexes such as, but not limited to, marine terminals, jetties, berths, logistics hubs, liquids and solids handling centers, in-bound and out-bound pipelines to and from the facilities, rail systems to transport products to the marine, trucking, products handling in terms of intermediate storage tanks, warehouses, packaging, extrusion, etc. and others.</li>

	<li>Possesses strong commercial/business experience. &bull; Developing Philosophies for OSBL/ISBL Interconnecting Pipelines for the products and feedstocks from marine terminal to the refinery and petrochemical facilities and vice versa including cross-country pipelines (e.g. Ethane, Crude, etc.)<br />
&bull; Developing Philosophies for Solid products (e.g. Polymers) Logistics from manufacturing unit to customers including but not limited to Packaging, warehousing, transportation etc.<br />

&bull; Develop and negotiate 3rd party Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreements, supply agreements, joint development agreements, definitive agreements, and other commercial aspects for supply chain systems (e.g. sourcing of raw materials/chemicals, multi-logistics hub, centralized refined and chemicals storage tanks, containers import/export facility, bulk marine import/export facility etc.) of refinery and petrochemical projects.<br />
&bull; lead commercial negotiations and projects development for 3rd party supply chain and logistics projects executed using 3rd party business models such as Build/Own/Operate (BOO), Build/Own/Operate/Transfer (BOOT), etc.<br />

&bull; Identify, assess and optimize the material flow and risk trade-offs across the supply chain at a tactical or strategic level (inventory, purchasing costs, production costs, logistics costs, product quality, asset utilization, productivity and customer service).<br />
&bull; Test supply chain design scenarios, process variability and trade-offs through simulation modelling techniques.<br />
&bull; Develop Feedstock and Products supply chain procedures, including inventory management, warehousing, automation, systems integration, and distribution.<br />
&bull; Collecting and interpreting analytical and performance data to determine supply chain KPIs.<br />
&bull; Daily Interaction with different Organizations to interpret, analyze, and act on their needs and requirements related to the Feedstock, Raw Materials and Products supply chain & Logistics management, pipelines systems and infrastructure.<br />

	<li>Excellent negotiation skills and strong commercial/business acumen. Experience in commercial negotiations and projects development for 3rd party business model projects such as Build/Own/Operate (BOO), Build/Own/Operate/Transfer (BOOT), etc.</li>
	<li>Strong knowledge on Feedstock & Product supply chain operation and management in refineries and petrochemical complexes such as, but not limited to, marine terminals, jetties, berths, logistics hubs, liquids and solids handling centers, in-bound and out-bound pipelines to and from the facilities, rail systems to transport products to the marine, trucking, products handling in terms of intermediate storage tanks, warehouses, packaging, extrusion, etc. and others.</li>
	<li>Experience in participating in prefeasibility/feasibility studies as well as pre-FEED/FEED design phases for refinery and petrochemical projects. Experience in participating in EPC studies for refinery and petrochemical projects.</li>
	<li>Possesses strong commercial/business experience. Experience in negotiating 3rd party Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreements, supply agreements, joint development agreements, definitive agreements, and other commercial aspects for supply chain systems and logistics, utility systems and infrastructure of refinery and petrochemical projects.</li>
	<li>Have knowledge on the market supply and demand of major refined and petrochemical products and their target destination abroad and final uses and applications.</li>

The incumbent is responsible for assuring full compliance with offtake/sales agreements for all refined products, representing Saudi Aramco in the relevant offtakers discussion and meetings, assuring continuous and healthy relationship between Domestic Joint Venture and Saudi Aramco as a products Offtaker and feedstock supplier. Has decent prior work experience in the downstream oil & gas industry specifically refineries planning & sales, and capable of understanding and interpreting commercial agreements. <b>Duties & Responsibilities</b></p>

	<li>Consult FAAD, Law, ATC and other concerned internal or external organizations in order to protect the company&#39;s rights as an Offtaker and/or feedstock supplier in relation to such legal commitments.</li>
	<li>Represent SAO to propose to the JV refinery and the other Offtaker new arrangements that could protect SAO&#39;s interest and/or improve operations and logistics, acting as a focal point for all commercial communication with JVs.</li>
	<li>Assure continuous and healthy relationship between DJVs and Saudi Aramco as an Offtaker and/or feedstock supplier. This includes, but is not limited to, organizing and attending Offtaker meetings, following up on agreed action items, and extending support to DJVs, as required, in a manner that does not exceed the operational side of the business.</li>
	<li>Connect and interact with OSPAS operations coordination teams in the day-to-day execution of the Kingdom demand fulfilment plan and of the DJV lifting schedules.</li>
	<li>Monitor the JV refineries&#39; production plans, lifting programs, entitlements, allocation and inventories, and contractual compliance of all deals in order to assure optimum utilization and highest realization for the refinery and Saudi Aramco.</li>

The department's role also includes coordinating the execution of these investment opportunities and managing these investments post transaction. The objective of this department is to create a viable, material integrated global gas business by 2035.<br> <br> Position is an individual contributor role to work in the incumbent liaisons with the commercial business development team who develop the supply side of the LNG business and lead the contract negotiation and management activities for the LNG sourcing contracts. In addition to liaising with the commercial team, the sale & marketing professional will coordinate with Aramco's LNG trading desk to optimize the LNG portfolio. On the sales side, this role is responsible for reaching out to various market participants to test demand appetite, and then negotiate/finalize sales contracts terms. Additionally, this role is responsible for: monitoring the supply-demand balance of the overall LNG portfolio, and for taking measures to ensure that balance remains within the acceptable range; as well as overall portfolio management and development of an optimized commercial strategy. The incumbent must possess deep international experience in sales and supply origination activities in gas & LNG and strong management skills.<br><br><b>Key Responsibilities</b><br><br>Responsible for originating, negotiating, finalizing, and managing LNG sales contracts.
