Responsibilities: - Enter financial data and transactions accurately into the ledger using Journal Entry methods. - Prepare Schedules and financial documents related to Monthly closing activities within tight timelines. - Provide support in preparing working papers & Schedules related to Audit, Group level reporting, and other financial related task as required. - Prepare and book accruals, fixed asset capitalization entries, prepaid amortization entries, and prepare schedules & entries related to IFRS16 Leases. - Prepare Working papers for VAT & Corporate Tax - Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate record keeping and provide necessary accounting support. - Utilize experience with Oracle Financials to effectively manage financial data and transactions. - Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel to analyse financial data efficiently. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the insurance industry. - Proven experience with Oracle Financials software. - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the insurance industry is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
