We are taking the next step in this regard with the addition of a new Senior Utilities Engineer Supporting the Civil and Infrastructure teams in the role of a Civil Engineer- Infrastructure Utilities with a strong Engineering background.
- Will be responsible for managing the production of technical design information including reports, drawings and specifications for the infrastructure associated projects.
- Liase with both private and public clients, local authorities and external stakeholders.
- The successful candidate will be expected to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision.
- Expected to carry out technical reviews and the checking of design information and reports prepared by other engineers in the team.
- Assist with the production of proposals for new commissions, and undertaking project management and financial control of small to medium sized projects.
- Promote the Ramboll brand and undertake business development.
- Apply and promote policies relating to health and safety, quality, and the development of others
- Undertaking Project Management and financial control of small to medium sized projects.
- Carry out technical reviews and checking of design information and reports prepared by others.
- Develop and grow within Ramboll’s Technical Support Groups driving innovation, new technologies and techniques.
- Engineering Bachelor Degree / Civil
- Minimum experience of 7 Years in Infrastructure Projects.
- Experienced in Design of pressurized and gravity systems using Civil3D Hydraulic modelling of pressurized and gravity systems.
- Prepare the wet utilities design for water, wastewater, irrigation and storm water, Fire for infrastructure project, including production of Hydraulic models, technical reports, calculations, design briefs, specifications, drawings, schedules, contract documentation and the like.
- Experience in Utility Clash Analysis and resolution,
- Experience in coordination with multi disciplines such as wet/dry utilities (potable water, Telecom, Power, sewer, storm, street lighting, gas etc ), MEP, roads, landscape etc.
- Experience in Infrastructure Utilities Corridors Design
- Experience in BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D Software is a must.
- Conduct a technical review for progress reporting.
- Liaising/meeting with developers, clients, or stakeholders to update on progress.
- Experience in ProjectWise, Infraworks, Navisworks, Openutilities etc.
- Sound knowledge of local authority and standards mainly (DPM/UPC, ADDC, TRANSCO, DoE/ ADWEA, ETISALAT, DU, RSB, ADM, DEWA, RTA, DM)
