Department PRODUCTION
Title GENERAL OPERATOR
Primary Purpose of Job Operate and carry out first line maintenance on assigned wellhead equipment, facilitate well testing and ascertain availability and sufficiency of all equipment including tools and spare parts to guarantee reliability, operability and plant functioning within Safety and operational standards
Education Completion of Secondary Education (12 years) followed by 2 years of full time training in the production and process facilities
Experience & Skills
• 6 years experience in a production and process operations in an offshore fields environment. • Good working knowledge of wellhead jackets associated equipment. • Good knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic valves and actuators. • Understands wellhead jackets facilities cause & effects. • Capable of understanding P&ID. • Good degree of oral / written and reading knowledge of English
