Summary The Senior Manager – IT Infrastructure & Service Delivery, reporting to the Group Head of Technology is responsible for managing end to end Infrastructure and Service Delivery for FHG’s IT infrastructure including cloud, data centers, communication lines, end user technologies, networks, and workplace services. Major Responsibilities IT Infrastructure

  • Responsible for managing all IT infrastructure and services, including but not limited to server and storage hardware, LAN and WAN services, telephony services, web services, IT security, databases, DC/DR infrastructure.
  • Mange the Public and Private Cloud infrastructure of the organization
  • Manage Microsoft Azure, AWS cloud architectures and cloud computing features.
  • Ensure the Infrastructure Team keeps the infrastructure secure from internal and external threats and that all privileges are proactively managed. Ensure all security breaches are investigated. Maintain complete, current and accurate records of all areas of infrastructure security.
  • Lead technical design, implementation, and management of server technologies such as physical/virtual servers, storage & backups, disaster recovery and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Responsible for effectively managing allocated budgets and ensuring corporate procurement policies are adhered to for all procurements.
  • Manage contracts and relationships with external suppliers and support organizations including having regular formal review meetings ensuring the best possible economic goods and services are received by FHG and mission critical services are maintained.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects from initiation, product selection, testing, configuration, and deployment.
  • Manage the performance and relationship of key service suppliers Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Produce system reports and statistics to support analysis and planning for technology capacity requirements.
  • Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programs and projects in line with the FHG’s standards.
  • Perform root cause analysis of out of SLA tasks and suggest short/long term actions to improve the efficiency.
  • Perform quality assurance on completed incident, outage, problem investigations and change management records.
  • Manage the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of Azure-based solutions.
  • Develop and implement templates and tools for business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
IT Operations
  • Managed Help Desk staff for optimal performance to deliver excellent technical support with outstanding customer service, satisfaction, and timeliness.
  • Support production applications, servers, and networks by responding to incidents, restoring service as quickly as possible, and investigating root causes for outages and maintaining incident logs.
  • Coordinate with IT team ensuring all documentation and procedures are kept current and accurate (Service Requests, logs, internal procedures, configuration documentation)
  • Maintain the operations support rotation, ensuring support is available at all times
  • Development of annual IT plan, providing inputs regarding infrastructure & service delivery requirements as well as assisting with budget setting, tracking, and expenditure.
  • Organize and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to ensure services are provided as per agreed SLA’s and TATs
  • Handle all escalations and ensure each escalation is closed satisfactorily.
Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems or Engineering.
  • ITIL Certification
  • Public Cloud certification
Experience
  • 10 years’ experience in Information Technology of which 7 years in Banking/Financial Services industry.
  • Experience in managing public cloud infrastructure ( Microsoft Azure, AWS etc.)
  • Experience in managing Private cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in Cloud Option Assessments and Cloud Migrations
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Vendor and Customer Management
  • Incident and problem resolution management skills.
  • Planning and Budgeting skills.
  • Up to date on latest technology trends and platforms
