The Opportunity Our trading team is looking for a talented Trading System Engineer who would work on improving our trading system including matching engine, API, and WebSocket server. It's an interesting and challenging position for a high load, high volume & low latency system. Responsibilities- Design & build new features into crypto trading system
- Develop and optimize trading algorithms, order routing, and execution strategies
- Implement and integrate various cryptocurrency exchange APIs and market data feeds into the trading system
- Extensive use of unit & integration tests
- Use best software practices to ensure code quality
- Improve system performance and decrease overall latency
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure system stability, scalability, and reliability
- Solid Java coding experience with focus on crypto trading systems
- Understanding principles behind low latency & zero GC code
- Experience with low latency libraries including Aeron or Chronicle queue/map
- Basic understanding of FIX protocol
- Good understanding of crypto markets, spot trading, order types, and trading protocols
- Understanding of design patterns & SOLID principles
- Experience of TDD with Junit, Cucumber
- Good knowledge of data structures & algos
- Good knowledge of Spring Boot, Postgres/MySQL
- Good knowledge of API design and development
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Sound understanding of message broker technology including Kafka
