Job Description: Pipeline Installation Analysis Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Installation Analysis Engineer to join our dynamic team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing rigorous analysis of pipeline installation processes, ensuring efficient and safe operations throughout various stages of installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive analysis of rigid pipeline and flexible product installation procedures.
  2. Perform Shore Pull Analysis to assess the feasibility and safety of pipeline installation from shore to seabed.
  3. Execute initiation, laying, and lay down analysis to optimize the installation process and minimize risks.
  4. Conduct dynamic analysis to evaluate the behavior of pipelines under varying environmental conditions and operational scenarios.
  5. Calculate fatigue levels to ensure the longevity and integrity of installed pipelines.
  6. Perform staking analysis to determine optimal positioning and stability of installed pipelines.
  7. Analyze pull-in procedures to ensure seamless integration of pipelines into existing infrastructure.
  8. Conduct stalk-on analysis to assess the stability and performance of installed pipelines on seabed structures.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, project management, and field operations to implement analysis findings and recommendations.
  10. Stay abreast of industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to pipeline installation analysis.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. Proven experience in pipeline installation analysis within the oil and gas industry, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  3. Proficiency in industry-standard analysis software such as OrcaFlex, Offpipe, Mathcad - this is a MUST
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  6. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to ensuring accuracy and reliability in analysis results.
  7. Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., API, DNV, ISO).
  8. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental stewardship in all aspects of work.
  10. Professional certification or licensure (e.g., P.E.) is a plus.
