SUMMARY OF THE ROLE As an Energy Sales Manager in Jotun Abu Dhabi, you will manage sales activities related to Energy Customer Group with Performance Coatings field and promote its products in Abu Dhabi by applying Jotun’s sales tools and techniques to promote Jotun’s products, services and solutions, identify new business development opportunities and maintain customer relationships in order to achieve sales targets, gross margin, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and targeted market shares. You will be an individual contributor who will be part of our Protective Coatings Department reporting to Segment Manager Performance Coatings. The job is based in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi, U.A.E.
- Manage and develop: key accounts , asset owners, new business opportunities and projects for the Energy, Oil and Gas sectors in Abu Dhabi market by targeting new customers to increase our market share and profitability
- Introduce, promote, and sell a range of Performance Coatings products and solutions within Abu Dhabi through regular customer visits to maintain good relationships, obtain market and competitor information
- Follow-up on projects by coordinating and monitoring closely with project personnel to ensure Jotun products are used to achieve the sales budget
- Troubleshoot, resolve and escalate specific customer problems and complaints
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, good customer service, and achieve company goals
- Monitor collections to ensure customer payment is received within an agreed term to achieve budgeted days outstanding
- Execute sales activities and targets related to volumes and gross margins by providing timely direct services to the customers to ensure achieving overall profitability and department objectives
- Mapping the market and its expansion with clear data of supply, demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors to increase Jotun's market share
- Bachelor's Degree certificate is required (preferably in Engineering field)
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in Oil and Gas Industry (Preferably in Performance Coatings)
- Key Account Management background
- Proficient in English language is required and Arabic language is preferred (Due to market demand)
