Lead Electrical Engineer Leading Oil and Gas Operator based in UAE Excellent Salary package offered + family benefits Key Accountabilities 1. Provides a lead role in Onshore Operations Electrical support requirements and prioritises work accordingly. Respond to any safety or business continuity threats and support the timely rectification of defects. 2. Have a deep understanding of the relevant company business processes for change management, supply chain, business planning, operations planning and maintenance management systems. 3. Development and input into electrical equipment design, installation and commissioning perform technical reviews of critical engineering deliverables in Pre – FEED, FEED, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Projects. 4. Development and input into engineering Philosophies, Standards and concept design related to electrical systems and equipment. 5. Attend Hazard Identification (HAZID), Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) and 3D model review workshops. 6. Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) attendance for critical equipment packages. 7. Input and review of commissioning and plant start-up procedures. 8. Development of new support contract Scope of Work & tender evaluations. 9. Competency & technical training input for operations and maintenance staff. 10. Development & update of Safety Critical Elements (SCE) and performance standards. 11. Technical input and review of Operations Manuals & Standard Operating Procedures. 12. Technical input into maintenance build program (Criticality, equipment Lead Electrical Engineer Information Security strategies and spares requirement). Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, including experience in Oil and Gas industry.
- 15 or more years with an Oil and Gas operating company experience in oil and gas with experience in leading a team.
- Deep knowledge of design and practical experience of electrical equipment systems and the associated equipment.
- Deep understanding of Safety Critical Equipment (SCE) and Performance Standards.
- Should have worked as a lead engineer with a consultant or operating company.
- Thorough understanding of electrical equipment design and international standards.
- Experience and involvement in all project phases, Pre – FEED, FEED, EPC Projects and the associated requirements.
