Role purpose:

Manage all IT Applications portfolio (include Microsoft Dynamics, Mobile Apps, Legacy Systems, Business Intelligence etc.)
Overall Application Transformation Program Management & Delivery
Preparation and management of IT Application Strategy, Budgeting & Enterprise Architect Roadmap
Responsible for Application Security, Audit & Compliance

Key Accountabilities:

Manages and completes Application Transformation Program with In-house and Outsourced Partner
Develop and formulate the Application strategy through interaction with all information technology functions and affected business units.
Responsible for Digital Solutions, Architect, and innovation through the creation of technology systems and Intellectual Property, especially for Business Services and new technology areas.
Application ownership, Business plan development, Innovations, Product and Service technical feasibility, architecting, platform and technology selection, technology infrastructure planning and set-up, risks and mitigation plan, hedging against technological obsolescence, information security planning, technology audit planning, quality assurance, communicating technology strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
IT Application Planning, Capacity Planning and technology roadmap. Ensured standardized approach to service delivery through process reengineering, risk assessments and governance
Develop enterprise-wide Application standards & Publish Enterprise Architecture
Oversee application development, enhancement and the integration of new systems with existing systems.
Responsible for Application Security, Audit & Compliance.
Preserve current state and future state Application & architectural models, keeping them up-to-date and relevant for active technology portfolio management.
Design, develop and implement information technology solutions/services that satisfy business needs and run efficiently and effectively in production. These solutions must be developed with testing, supportability and high availability foremost.
Analyze system performance, making recommendations where necessary, to assure optimal performance of business applications across the Application stack.
Stay current of new technology developments and examine opportunities to apply the new technology advancements where appropriate.
Cross-pollinate/institutionalize technical concepts to all layers within the technology organization.
Manage Application staffing for the functions (including hiring, training, evaluation, guidance, discipline and discharge).
Implement all IT Application policies and procedures, including those for Applications architecture, Applications security, Applications Backup and Recovery, standards, and service provision.
Continue to extend knowledge of Application and their interplay/interoperability, with a true open-system standards-based services-oriented architecture.
Develop exit strategies to replace aging Application offerings with current new market capabilities to ensure currency, relevancy to business direction and prevent re-engineering of the enterprise architecture and technology models/strategy.

Role Requirements: Experience & qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent from an accredited institution
12+ years of specialized experience in the enterprise transformation program management
Certification – TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, Applications
3+ years’ experience in Developing IT Application and Enterprise Architect function.
5+ years of Leading Business Applications experience and 4 Years as Project Manager Bachelor’s degree in any IT related discipline is required.

Knowledge & skills:

Thorough knowledge and understanding of Applications, BI/Analytics, Data mart, Data warehousing.
Comprehensive understanding of evolving industry trends, practices, and standards.
Proficient knowledge of project management, organizational and team-building skills.
Proficient knowledge of networking protocols, architectures, and systems.
Advanced skill to participate in IT strategic planning and new solutions development.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
Ability to achieve results according to Budget Plan goals and objectives.
Ability to coordinate, facilitate and make presentations.
Ability to Mentor all levels within the development and analyst disciplines to lift their skills.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively verbally and in writing (including the ability to negotiate credibly and persuasively and to resolve sensitive issues) with a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to effectively develop and maintain harmonious working relationships with diverse groups of people.
Must have technical knowledge and work experience on programming languages like Java, Pearl, C++, Visual Basic etc.
Cloud/Virtualization – VMWare, Oracle Cloud, Amazon AWS, Microsoft , Dockers
Must have technical knowledge and work experience on Database like (Oracle 12,10/8.x/7.x, SQL Server)
