ABS is a global leader of Sustainability and Decarbonization efforts in the maritime and offshore industries. The Company is looking for a Senior Manager to lead our Global Sustainability efforts regarding decarbonization and hydrogen. The Senior Manager's primary role is to serve as the subject matter expert regarding carbon and hydrogen solutions to our clients and employees. Assist and advise the organization to ensure ABS services and capabilities reflect industry needs.
Identify emerging industry needs and provide input on ABS product development activities.
Contribute to the development and capitalization of scientific expertise ensuring ABS remains the leader in maritime sustainability solutions.
Enhance client-facing efforts through the communication of capabilities to clients and external organizations.
Communicate the best use of ABS technologies, services, and products to internal and external stakeholders.
Liaise with Division President and other Division employees to develop new business opportunities.
Provide guidance on activities related to marketing, including advertising, trade shows, ABS publications and other marketing material.
Translate regulatory developments into ABS services.
Partner with senior management in preparing for and participating in client visits.
Coordination of corporate response on key client issues.
Awareness and communication of competitors and business intelligence.
Assist with proposal development that will provide solid sustainability solutions to our clients.

What You Will Need: Education & Experience

A minimum of eight to ten years of related experience with Carbon and Hydrogen technologies and processes.
Knowledge of decarbonization includes carbon capture and other technological solutions.
A bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent in Engineering.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Practical experience relating to technology, the marine industry, program management, and supervision.
Ability to understand, and deliver, technical analysis including life cycle analysis and risk management plans.
Ability to obtain a working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System.
Willingness and ability to stay current with industry standards, emerging technologies, and regulatory items. #dice
Able to communicate with a variety of stakeholders including outside clients and skilled at translating technical knowledge into easy-to-understand concepts. #ogjs
