Join our Energy team within Flow Equipment division in Saudi Arabia as Head of Project Management to help us take Project Management to the next level.  In this role you will be accountable for: 1. Overall responsibility for all assigned project deliverables including but not limited to hardware, financial and commercial outputs, dispute management, customer satisfaction and on time delivery. 2. Overall responsibility for assigned project profitability and accountability. 3. Ensuring that assigned projects are launched in a timely and professional manner. 4. Ensuring that timely client and internal kick off meetings are arranged and that all relevant project handover documentation is completed and distributed to relevant personnel. 5. Developing and maintaining relationships and interfaces with other key functions within CSS so as to drive all aspects of Engineering, Procurement and Production. 6. Provide timely customer quotations on established CSS projects that remain in line with prevailing financial objectives. 7. Ensuring timely completion of project milestones, adherence to budgets and that appropriate feedback is provided to colleagues. 8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers in order to reduce commercial risk and to maximise future business opportunities. 9. Provide clearly defined responsibilities for CSS colleagues and client contacts. 10. Production of reliable invoicing, Gross Profit and Cash forecasts for assigned projects. 11. Management of all aspects of project finances ensuring that all funds are expedited appropriately in accordance with forecasts for invoices and payments. 12. Management of all aspects of assigned project related documentation (including Dossiers and O&M manuals) in order to facilitate timely project Close Outs. 13. Management of project commercial close-outs in order to maximise cash flow and minimise exposure to financial penalty whilst maintaining customer relationships. 14. Participate in and actively support company initiatives. 15. Familiar with the environmental aspects and impacts of the activities and processes involved in the role and the procedures, practices and measures to manage the impact. 16.Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks 17. All other duties as relevant to the post.
  • Environmental, Safety &  Health:
  • Direct responsibility for the Health, Safety and Environment of all employees who either directly work in your area of control, or who visit the operational areas you are responsible for, either internal or external visitors. Including full legal & company compliance in areas under your responsibility.
  • Develop a positive safety culture through the Sulzer Behavioral Safety Program. Employee Development:
  • Mentoring, directing, motivating, supervising and monitoring the performance of all members of the allocated team.
  • Responsibility for operational staff’s appraisals in accordance with local policy.
  • Responsibility for staff development and training ensuring this is aligned to the business requirements.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor of Engineering Discipline and /or relevant Experience within the Pump Industry.
  • Relevant experience within related industry. 
  • Experience of managing projects.
  • Experience of contract negotiation in a commercial environment. 
  • Annual vacation of (21) days
