Eram Engineering is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Specialist to join our team. As a Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire contract lifecycle, from initial proposal development to contract negotiation and administration. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors or clients to ensure contractual compliance and mitigate risks. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of contract law and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate contract requirements and terms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop contract proposals and negotiate terms and conditions
- Conduct thorough contract analysis and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Monitor contract performance and identify any deviations or non-compliance
- Manage contract amendments, extensions, and renewals
- Prepare and maintain accurate contract documentation and records
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related matters
- Resolve contractual disputes or issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in contract laws and regulations
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, contract management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Contract Specialist or in a similar role
- Thorough understanding of contract law, regulations, and industry best practices
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with complex documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously
- Proficient in contract management software and MS Office suite
- Experience in the engineering, construction, or consulting industry is preferred
- Certification in contract management is a plus
