About the Role: As an IT Lead Business Analyst in Data Analytics, you will play a critical role in delivering high impact projects and products by bridging the gap between business needs and data analytics solutions using agile methodology. You must have a strong credible experience delivering products and projects using Agile methodology and demonstrated success in helping business drive insights and derive tactical and strategic decisions from working data products and visualizations. Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Facilitate communication as a primary interface between the customer/business and the technology teams.
Collaborate, Collect, analyze and model business needs and requirements.
Ability to understand requirements on data insights, and to evaluate underlying inhouse data sources or 3rd party data sources available, and to design the data product solutions.
Create detailed user stories, process flows and other associated documents such as Data Mapping Documents, Data dictionary, etc. required for data analytics projects, such that technical teams can design and carry out development without ambiguity
Support the product owner with the decision making process and shape up the right data product that helps them to arrive at the insights they seek.
Support the technical lead / architect in designing the technical framework that meets the desired business outcomes of the solution envisioned.
Support quality assurance team members in test case scenarios and ensure the data quality and integrity of overall solution.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming and sprint review meetings and contribute to continuous improvements to the efficiency and quality of the processes
Help prioritize and manage the product backlog
Ensure project and product objectives are met with scope, timeline, cost and overall budget allocations
Continuously assess and improve data collection, storage and analysis processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Lead a team of business analysts, provide mentoring and coaching in the data space.
Contribute in setting best practices and standards for data practices through the organization wide BA Center of Practice.

Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

Bachelor Degree with minimum 10 years as Business Analysts and 5 years of experience in a data analytics role.
Airline knowledge is an advantage.
Strong understanding of Agile methodology (Scrum and Kanban) and Proven experience of at least 3 years as Business Analyst in Agile environment.
Proficiency in using Agile project/product management tools.
Proficiency in Data Modelling concepts and in creating documents such as Data Mapping Document, Data Dictionary, etc.
Strong understanding of Data Lake / Warehouse technologies and architecture, and popular industry practices.
Excellent understanding of ETL/ELT processes and creating user stories covering loading, processing, reporting, scheduling, quality and governance aspects for data.
Excellent understanding of PLSQL, Python, RDBMS concepts. Ability to explain the logic of building a data product in a data engineers language.
Must be a quick learner and ability to switch domain and adapt to changes.
Certifications in Agile like PSPO, PSM, CSPO, CSM, or similar, is considered a plus
Certifications in Business Analysis such as PMI-PBA, CBAP, IIBA-AAC, IIBA-CBDA, or others
