Legal and Compliance Saudi Arabia Posted on 3 days ago About the job Job Title: Senior Litigation Lawyer Location: Riyadh, KSA Company Overview: Our client is one of the leading banking in the Middle East, headquartered in Riyadh. They have a large legal team which is rapidly growing. Responsibilities: • Represent the bank in legal disputes: Handle lawsuits, arbitrations, and legal conflicts involving the bank's interests. • Provide legal counsel: Advise bank executives on potential legal risks and strategies to mitigate them during business operations. • Conduct research: Investigate case law, regulations, and statutes to build strong legal arguments and defences. • Draft legal documents: Prepares pleadings, motions, and other legal filings required for court proceedings. • Negotiate settlements: Works to resolve disputes through negotiation or settlement discussions to minimize financial and reputational impacts on the bank. Qualifications: • 8+ years of disputes experience. • Saudi national. • Fluency in Arabic is essential, English is strongly preferred. • Experience in the banking sector is strongly preferred.
