Sr. BI Consultant – Databricks & Power BI Oil n gas experience is must Sr. BI Consultant – Databricks & Power BI Oil n gas experience is must Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Business Intelligence Consultant with deep expertise in Databricks, Power BI, and SAP Analytics tools. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in designing and delivering end-to-end BI solutions across enterprise environments. This role demands strong technical proficiency, data modeling skills, and the ability to work independently across the full project lifecycle—from requirements gathering to deployment and performance tuning.Key Responsibilities Power BI & Azure Databricks Design, develop, and publish dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI.Integrate Power BI with Azure Databricks using Direct Query and Spark connectors.Optimize performance with advanced DAX, efficient data models (star/snowflake), and incremental refresh.Manage row-level security, workspace governance, and large dataset handling.Develop analytics solutions using Databricks SQL Warehouses and Delta Lake tables.Collaborate with data engineers to optimize queries and Delta table structures.Working knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Lakehouse architecture is preferred.SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) & Business Objects Build interactive stories and models in SAP Analytics Cloud, integrating data from BW and HANA.Deep expertise with SAP Business Objects (Web Intelligence, IDT, Lumira Designer).Deliver and manage large-scale BO implementations using data from ECC, S/4 HANA, BW, Oracle, etc.Customize dashboards with Java Script, CSS, and SAP UI5/Fiori standards.Develop Universes, implement complex SQL logic, and optimize reporting performance.Project Delivery & Communication Lead BI projects independently—from requirements gathering to final delivery.Engage with business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.Prepare documentation, conduct design reviews, and ensure solution alignment with business needs.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior BI team members.Preferred Skills Exposure to Native HANA modeling and role-based security.Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and predictive analytics tools.Knowledge of other BI platforms like Tableau, Qlik View, Looker.Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.10+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, including backend and frontend development.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Skills: fiori,power bi,sap analytics tools,sql,css,sap businessobjects,dax,data modeling,sap,git,azure sql,azure,javascript,sap analytics cloud,azure data factory,sap ui5,lakehouse architecture,databricks Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Arab Solutions by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Senior Business Intelligence Consultant” roles.We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
