Consolidation & Reporting Lead (Short term contract)

The position of Consolidation & Reporting Lead is for a short-term of 9 months (Starting date - 1st July 2025) -Immediate joiners preferred As a Lead, you will be responsible to contribute to the consolidation activities with in Qatari Diar and to ensure consolidation process is completed on time and finalizing consolidated financial statements. Consolidation & Reporting: Ensure the consolidation reporting template in accordance with the business requirements and applicable financial reporting framework is maintained and updated. Regular reviews of the Consolidation policies and procedures within Qatari Diar and ensure that it is in line with applicable financial reporting standards and other regulatory requirements. Reviewing inter-company balances' matching schedule and ensure that they are agreed upon and properly adjusted on consolidation. Consolidating relevant sub-schedules and ensuring consolidated account balances are properly supported with sub-schedules. Liaising with regional offices and reviewing their consolidation packages to ensure all relevant information is included. Ensuring monitoring currency translation adjustments in the consolidation process. Ensuring proper reflection of the acquisition transactions and other key financial transactions in the consolidation work sheets across all entities. Liaising with external auditors of QD and its subsidiaries to ensure effective completion of consolidated financial statements. The Ideal candidate should have 7+ years of experience in General Ledger accounting or preparation of financial statements. He/ she should be a qualified accountant with a bachelor's degree in accounting/ finance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
