Each and every member of the GBS family plays an integral role in driving ADCB's strategy, growth and digital evolution by working closely with our valued business partners to achieve exceptional customer experience through our outstanding service and support.We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Group Business Service team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.In this role, your key responsibilities include: In conjunction with, and as required by the Chief Information Officer, contribute to the formulation, implementation and delivery of the Group’s strategy in line with the ADCB’s vision, mission, values and priorities. Translate the strategy into operational business plans for the short, medium and long term within the department(s) and ensure that performance is monitored, reported and delivered and necessary actions are taken to achieve the strategy and plans Oversee technology initiatives and business technology solutions by identifying cross functional opportunities ensuring alignment with the Bank’s technology strategy in order to achieve business goals. Develop a client aligned approach and coordinate with business as partners by promoting collaborative engagement approach and partner with the business in pitches to customers by translating external client requirements into technology solutions in order to allow business to respond with Banking solutions.Lead the implementation and delivery of the Group’s Generative AI strategy and practice in line with the ADCB’s vision, mission, values and priorities. Develop operational business plans for the short, medium and long term within the Unit and ensure that performance is monitored, reported and delivered and necessary actions are taken to achieve the strategy and plans. Lead the creation of golden source repositories in order to support business units and propositions alike. Deliver on committed financial targets and rigorously contribute to value creation and growth. Drive the management and delivery of group wide technology solutions portfolio, programmes and projects that achieve business goals through direct reports and teams to ensure achievement to the implementation plan. Direct and lead planning, designing and implementation of best in class technology applications and products by collaborating closely with the business in order to understand current and future business needs and translating them into an efficient, agile, flexible and scalable architecture. Provide Business Support function through a team of specialised subject matter experts (SME) and liaison in order to facilitate planning, costing and architecting technologies solutions Develops or modify vendor service level agreements as required in order to meet ADCB needs for sustainable service support, evaluate effectiveness and adequacy of support and take corrective measures. Develop and manage relationships with external vendors in the areas of product delivery and upgrades to ensure ADCB interests are optimized Manage employees and teams by overseeing their performance management, recruitment, learning and development to ensure high levels of engagement, and competence, a motivated work environment and to maximise employee contribution to business performance Drive the management of change in the business area through direct reports and teams by providing inputs for, and partaking in change initiatives, programmes and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment.
