About the role The Oil & Gas Application Engineer is a key role reporting to the Oil & Gas Manager based in Doha. You will be part of a growing team and responsible for driving the growth of business for HVAC Systems sales in the Oil & Gas market. As an experienced Application Engineer, you should have experience in project execution and complex knowledge of HVAC solutions related to the Oil & Gas field involving Chillers, AHU, Package Unit, FCUs, etc. You will prepare the technical and commercial bids with the right solutions, attend technical meetings, and execute the assigned projects. You will be working closely with the Sales team for technical and commercial support. You will work within a team that provides a platform for you to use your experience to support the team with pre-sales and post-sales activities. Key Responsibilities : As an Oil & Gas Application Engineer, you’ll be responsible for: Studying project specifications and preparing compliance with Technical Bid Evaluation. Designing and selecting the right solution to meet Client needs. Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education. Enquiry pricing and quotation preparation. Performing product technical presentations. Project execution and documentation. Responding to technical queries and proposing efficient solutions. Attending internal/external meetings with customers as needed. Requirements We are looking for people who, as a minimum, must have: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Minimum of 3-5 years in a sales application role and related experience in execution of Oil & Gas projects. Good interpersonal, influencing, and analytical skills. Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, planning, costing, and execution skills. Ability to produce high-quality and impactful professional documents for clients and internal use. Proven experience with a clear understanding of Oil & Gas projects specifications and documentation requirements. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Fluency in the English language is essential and excellent email etiquette. Result-oriented, tenacious, self-motivated, with a customer-focused approach.
